Packers Calendar: Public Practice Switches to 11:00 Hour

For the first time this year, a practice open to the public will begin at 11:15 a.m. at Ray Nitschke Field in Green Bay.

After spending the first two weeks of training camp typically practicing in the morning, the Packers get back to work for the first time in public setting at 11:15 a.m. on Tuesday.

Like usual, they'll be out at Ray Nitschke Field. The forecast calls for slightly cooler weather with temperatures in the 60s but zero percent chance of precipitation.

This is the only week of practice during training camp in which the Packers have more than a week between games, so they're using the opportunity to switch to switch to their usual regular-season routine.

"We'll start Tuesday as if was a Wednesday in a normal work week and get our players on an in-season schedule," said head coach Mike McCarthy. "Obviously after we play St. Louis, we're working six-day weeks."

The Packers will practice three consecutive days before Saturday's game against the Rams, essentially mimicking the three days of practice they'll have for the usual Sunday game during the regular season.

Running back DuJuan Harris was taken off the PUP list and returned to practice on Monday for the first time since camp opened. While he participated only on a limited basis, the Packers look to increase his workload as the week progresses.

The team will also be anticipating the returns of wide receiver Randall Cobb and offensive lineman T.J. Lang, both of whom are nursing injuries of a less serious nature. They could return any day this week, perhaps on Tuesday.

McCarthy will have his post-practice press conference streamed on the team's official website at Packers.com, probably sometime approaching 2:00 p.m.
