Always interesting when you two talk.
I was writing so I only now just listened to your podcast. I put Elgton Jenkins' market value at 4 years, $64M, or $16M AAV. You suggest that Jenkins is not as good as Sherff, who got 3 years, $49.5M, or $16.5M AAV. Sherff only got 3 years because he is 31. Jenkins should get 4 or 5 years if his knee continues to look better over the last 4 games. However, Sherff got a whopping 60.1% fully guaranteed ($30M of $49.5) despite missing 21 games over the 4 years he played prior to signing this big deal.
Always interesting who gets paid a ton and which players seem to get overlooked financially. When I had Jenkins playing tackle at a high level, I could see $20M. Having trouble seeing more that $16M now. We shall see.
