Packers DE Johnny Jolly Signed RFA Tender

Greg Bedard of the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel reports that Green Bay Packers restricted free agent defensive lineman Johnny Jolly signed his one-year tender prior to Monday's deadline.

By signing the $2.521 million dollar tender, Jolly's base salary in 2010 will not be reduced to 110% of his 2009 base salary, a reduction that would have cost Jolly $1.9325 million dollars.

Of course, Jolly's legal issues do threaten his availability for the 2010 season, and his restricted free agent tender is not guaranteed.
