Eagles OL Nick Cole Signs RFA Tender

Philadelphia Eagles guard/center Nick Cole has signed his one-year tender, the team announced on Wednesday.

Cole, who joined the Eagles as an undrafted free agent from New Mexico State in 2006, was tendered at the second-round level, which carries a base salary of $1.759 million dollars for the 2010 season.

The 6-0, 350-pound squatty-bodied lineman has started 22 of his 64 games with the Eagles, including all 16 games at all three spots along the interior of the Eagles' offensive line in 2009.

Of the Eagles' nine restricted free agents off-season, guard Max Jean-Gilles and punter Sav Rocca are the only two to have not signed their one-year tender or reached a long-term extension with the team. Restricted free agent linebacker Chris Gocong signed his tender, and was traded to the Cleveland Browns.
