My favorite is the last game played at county stadium. My father, grandfather, and I were sitting directly underneath the large speakers in the top row. Watching Favre run for the touchdown with 14 seconds left wll forever be entrenched as my favorite. I was 12 years old.

I remember I was about 16 years old and I was on the phone with one of my best friends from high school ready to tear my hair out that we were going into overtime and that we shouldn't even be in this situation. He just kept telling me don't worry man we have Favre hes got this. I just refuted back his lofty triple team coverage deep throws that surely would result in a interception.... Then it happened. Mid sentence I bit my tongue as Favre heaved a 80 yard rainbow to Jennings for the overtime winning touchdown first quarter first drive, on one of the best corners at the time - Champ Bailey, that moment sealed the deal on how truly majestic Favre was for me since I really was too young to remember the super bowl eras. Green Bay exploded in that moment and the community came together proclaiming Favre as the greatest QB and even my stubbornness couldn't play devils advocate any longer.

I took my son to his first ever game about 15 or so years ago. He was about 9. A night game. After the game, we sat around by player parking and waited for autograph chances. It was snowing and sleeting and my son slipped off of a curb by the fence and his bag of merch went all over the place. Brett Favre got out of his white pickup truck as he was leaving the area ...helped my son up....saw his stuff on the ground and GAVE him a $50 bill from his wallet. Whole thing lasted 5 minutes. December 22nd, 2003 the day after his father died, after having the best 1st half in his career, watching Brett Favre hug his wife in the 4th quarter with tears coming down before leaving for Mississippi for his fathers funeral was a moment that should be etched in everyone's memory as it is in mine. Right from the start I remember feeling the goosebumps after watching an ovation of respect from a normally vicious Raider crowd when he was announced as the starting quarterback.
This day is the day I will remember as Brett Favres true love and passion for the game and for Greenbay.

Also not eligible, but it has to be his underhanded, backhanded toss while falling down to Donald Lee during the Seattle Snow Globe game at Lambeau Field. Mostly because I was there, i guess. Otherwise it was the Monday night game vs/ Oakland.

My favorite memory is the early Favre that threw a TD pass between 3 defenders for a TD. He ruined the game by having three turnovers but until Aaron Rodgers came along the most accurate pass I ever saw!

On of my favorite memory's of Favre is the Superbowl TD to Rison when he is running across the field with his helmet off. Just reminding us how fun the game actually is.

Another favorite was the Raiders game after his father passed away. I really don't remember any other game in which it felt like the QB was perfect. Everything he threw seemed to find his WR's.

As for Favre himself the biggest thing I I think of him was how tough he was. He was a great player, but his toughness is the first thing I think of him. I remember Sapp sacking him and Favre getting right back up and in his face. Or after a handoff Favre was out front blocking. Those are the things I remember most.

It was my Grandparents 50th wedding anniversary. My Uncle exchanged favors with Red, the equipment manager. We got a personal tour of Lambeau...including the locker room. While my Aunt is snapping my picture in front of bretts locker, she suddenly stops as if she seen a ghost. Better yet it was Favre, with his youngest daughter. We all stood there like a deer in the headlights, no one could muster a word. Except me. I wasn't about to let this once in a lifetime chance get away from me. I raised my hand, not sure why, and said hey Brett...he replied, hey, how's it goin? And then he was gone as he continued on. We respected he was with his daughter, so we didn't dare ask for photos or autographs...in my mind, I met Brett Favre. My life is complete. The Pack went on to beat the Saints 52-3. Best weekend of my life. Would love to watch my hero claim his prize. Truly, I would. And ever so grateful.

Packers vs Lions at Detroit in 1st round play-off game Jan 8, 1994. Packers down 24-21 late in game. Favre throws spectacular 40 yard TD to Sterling Sharp to take lead and win game.

What I'm assuming will be my favorite memory is his Packer hall of fame induction.

For me there were two of them. The first was the game in 1992 against Cincinnati when he threw that game winning TD pass to Kitrick Taylor. I'll never forget the stadium went berserk and Favre standing there with his arms up and helmet off in jubilation. That's when I knew he was going to be a good quarterback. The second one was the following year in a playoff game against the Detroit Lions. He heaves the ball to Sterling Sharpe with :55 seconds left to win the game. I was so excited and it was such a magical moment. There are so many great memories, but those two will always stick out in my mind.

Born outside Green Bay, in a little town called Menasha I have been a Packer fan for life. I just liked the way Brett played with the gunslinger mentality and left everything on the field a true competitor. With Brett in the game you always knew you had a chance to win.

My favorite memory was my first Packers game I saw in person. It was against the Vikings at the metrodome December 26th 2004. The game was to decide the NFC North champion and in a classic Favre fashion we needed a come from behind victory. Down 7 points in the 4th quarter of a high scoring back and forth game, Favre not only led a touchdown tying drive, but a drive to set up Ryan Longwell for the game winning field goal at the end of regulation. It was the only game I saw in person with Favre at qb and it was one I will never forget!

It had to be when he met "Mr. Miyagi" (of "Karate Kid" fame) on the field, and saw the replay on the Jumbotron!

My favorite memory of Brett Farve isn't an actual play. It is how he always sold the pass fake no matter what the play call was! Who could forget his contagious smile during the game. It was there a lot of the time, even as he picked himself up after a sack. He always seemed to love the game!

This was the first time my dad let me stay up on a school night to watch an entire game so that'll always be special. Yes, Freeman made one of the most memorable plays in Packers history but Favre going deep off his back foot on 3rd down in OT is classic #4.

Definitely the Monday Night game vs. Oakland after his dad died. The passion he played with that night was incredible. Just an overall amazing game after such a huge loss. Every single player and every single fan felt that loss that night, and for him to still go out and play is a testament of his dedication and strength. It made me love him that much more.

I don't have one memory I have lots. I enjoyed watching him play. He had so much passion for the game and enjoyed every moment. He really loved to play football. I have spent a lot time watching the Packers with my grandpa and my dad. He made watching Green Bay Football fun. I have been a fan my whole life and would love to watch him walk out of the tunnel one last with my dad and brother. He will always be a big part of the Green Bay Packers and I'm glad I got watch him make history.

Week 3, 1999. He threw a TD pass on 4th down with the clock running out to bring the Packers back from down 20-16 to beat the Vikings 23-20. The sheer madness of the Packers scrambling to the line to get the play off, and then Favre throwing the TD to Corey Bradford.

There were no boys in my family.....there were only 3 girls......I watched/listened to Green Bay Packer Football with my Dad in the Glory years of the 60's so I would have something in common with him. Later in life I had 2 boys....and I made that connection with them as I had with my Dad.....as their Mom, I watched Packer football with my boys. We went through a long spell of not winning during the 80's and early 90's.....then Brett came along. We laughed with him, we cheered with him, we cried with him, we threw things at the TV because of him.....but oh the memories I have with my boys. 4Ever Cherished.......

I was a South Dakota girl who had recently married a Wisconsin born and raised guy, and prior to 2002, I knew very little about football or the Packers. I vividly Remember watching this game with my new husband and instantly becoming a huge fan of Favre and the Packers--incredibly gritty, strong, emotional performance on the field by #4 that left me in tears and made a new fan out of me! thanks to Favre and his game that night, I am now a bona-fide obsessive Packers fan--I would give anything to be at this game!

I remember a lot of great Favre games but one of my favorites was the Monday night game against the Broncos in 2007 when Favre hit Jennings on a deep pass on the first play of overtime. My other favorites are the Monday night game in 2003 against Oakland after his dad died and the playoff game in 2007 against the Seahawks in the snow. No matter what he did after his time in Green Bay, he'll always be one of my favorite Packers of all time.

2 stories! 1 is on oct.11 1993 walking down main st.running into Frank Winters Mark Chimura and Brett on his birthday crawl! The other is when my roommate at the time Sim Nelson ask me to work security for a press deal at The Radisson and it was for Brett but I was able to meet his dad family etc!

When he leaps into a teammates arms with a boy like smile or takes off running and tackling a team mate that just made a huge play. He reminded us what it is like to be kids. To play a game because u love it not for any other reason. Brett favre will always be my favorite player because he changed the way we feel. He made us happy because of the joy he played with. He made us feel like kids even if just for a split second.

My favorite memories of Favre are actually the times he played against the Buccaneers and how Favre would go at Warren Sapp. That guy would put down Favre and he would jump up and get in his face. That showed his toughness and tenacity.

The greatest game memory of mine was the game after Brett's father died. His professionalism, determination and responsibility to the team were so inspiring. Also, I have always felt a secret connection to the Favres as Brett resembles one of my sons and his mother's name is the same as mine, Bonita. It would be one of the greatest experiences of my lifetime to view the induction.

It's hard to pick a favorite but I'd have to say my favorite Favre memory has to be the first time I saw him play live in San Diego in 2003. There were noticeably more Cheeseheads in the stands than Chargers fan. The Pack won and Brett had 4 TD's. I will never forget the first time I got to see him play live.

Have to agree with Thompson T wins here. Farve was a good player for the Packers, and turned into a terrible human being. Yeah, he won some games, he also lost more when it really counted...the bigger the game, the worst he played. I'll always remember him as a fun player to watch, who too often choked in big games, and was/is a general scumbag of a person.

September 20, 1992. My daughter was 16 months old, sitting in my lap when Majik went down and Brett came in. What a moment! A few years later my daughter cut the pictures from newspaper from the playoff game where the Pack held down Barry Sanders and pasted them on construction paper with crayon drawings.

She couldn't know it then, but I devastated when the Majik Man went down. He was the best QB we had in a long time, and expectations for improvement were high. Little could we know what was about to happen.

So many great memories but taking us out of the dark ages and all the vicious hits. True ironman and great packer.

At Denver Broncos, when Favre threw an 80 yard rainbow to Jennings for the overtime winning touchdown. I believe it was the very first play of OT and just like that, game over, Packers win. It was classic Favre in my opinion. And, he threw it against probably the best corner in the league at the time - Champ Bailey. .

I don't know if we can enter twice, but a second favorite is his shovel pass in the "Snowball" game. We were down 14 points on two turnovers in the first quarter, if I remember right, and it seemed to many the game was already lost in the first quarter. Everything about that game was magical and the shovel pass was again, just classic Favre--pulling one out of the hat.

Easy. Has got to be the concussion game. Against the NY Giants. Even tho we lost.

Concussed, left the game...Came back in, didn't know where he was and threw a TD to Walker.

I would have to say my favorite moment was a realization I came to on my own. I used to second guess the team, coaches, and executives all the time because of the arm chair quarterback attitude. I was wondering how long before Holmgren was going to pull this interception machine he kept going with at quarterback. Then I finally realized that maybe the coaches know more than I do and see things I don't see. Sticking with Favre and taking the good with the bad paid off so well in the long run. You have to love the guy even with the way things ended.

I have two favorite memories and they have to do with important times in my life.
First was 9/20/1992. It was a Sunday and I had just been married to my wife the day before. We were on our drive for our Honeymoon and I had a Sony Walkman and was watching the Packer game thru Wisconsin as my new wife was driving. I remember seeing Don Majkowski go down and remember saying they bringing in this new guy, of course I said his name wrong, Brett Favre! Watching him connect with Kittrick Taylor was ALMOST ( my wife might read this so I have to be careful) the coolest thing I ever witnessed.
Then, 12/18/1994. My son Cole was born the day before. Stayed in the hospital with my wife and first born child. Got up for the early game in which the Packers played the Falcons for the final game at Milwaukee County Stadium. His dive into the endzone at the end of the game put us in the playoffs. Awesome moment!
Brett has given all Packer fans tons of memories. I was hurt when he left for the Jets and ESPECIALLY the Vikings living here in SE Minnesota but this past week or so, listening to his interviews and reliving the memories has been therapeutic and I cant wait to see that number 4 up on the walls of Lambeau!

The way I look at it is, everyone has a right to an opinion. You can admire, love, like, or even hate a player. As ticket buyers and fans its what we do. The bottom line is everyone loves a winner. Favre pLayed his heart out, played hurt ,and gave everything to the Packers. Great players came to GB because of him. If Ron Wolf never would have signed him the Packers would have spent another decade as bottom feeders. Since he became a Packer they have been one of the best sports franchises.................PERIOD! That alone should force the anti Farve people to just shut up and let the man have his day. Almost any fan of any other team would have sold their souls to the devil to have a QB like him.

It was 1992. I was 11 years old. The Packers came to my hometown of Wautoma to play the high school staff for a charity basketball game. All the big stars were there - Bryce Paup, John Jurkovic - the list goes on. As they were announcing the names, they had one addition that wasn't on the original roster. "Welcome the newest member of the Packers...Brett Favra." The crowd did a collective "Who?" The Packers had traded for Favre a few days earlier, so they shipped the new guy out to Wautoma for a charity game. The confused sounds from the crowd quickly turned to sounds of awe when the young QB grabbed a rebound and rifled a pass to Jurko on the other end of the court. The ball hit John and bounced off his belly about halfway across the court. We knew then this guy had an arm. At halftime I got a picture with Bryce Paup - and that other guy - the new QB. Oh yeah, I later had it signed by Favre. It's hanging in my Packers room as one of my prized possessions. Maybe this isn't the best moment of No. 4's Packers career - but it just might be the earliest.

For me it was Favre tossing the bomb in the Denver OT game. The wife and I flew out from Wisconsin for the game and to visit a friend. We had decent seats, 50 yard line but pretty high up. Regulation was ending and I had to piss soooooo bad so I figured I'd wait untill the end of the 4th qtr, hit the bathroom and come back for OT. As I'm finishing up in the bathroom all I hear is screaming. I run to the stairs to enter the stadium and all I can see is a little yellow helmet cruising down the field. Turns out Greg Jennings is awesome. There was a lot of Packer fans there and it was absolutely insanity after the game.

I think my favorite Favre memory is when he retired. To me, it was one of those things where you never really knew what you had until it was gone. I skipped a couple hours of school to go home and watch his press conference with my dad. I cried much more than I thought I would. I think that was just the second or third time I've ever seen my dad cry. It's my favorite memory because it showed how much Favre meant to my dad and me.

As far as a game moment, how about the last game at County Stadium? I was only 4 at the time, but I've seen highlights and watch it on YouTube quite often. Go watch it again. He jumps into the endzone, the crowd erupts and the cameras shake. It's amazing. Goosebumps every time.

My favorite memory of Brett Favre would be the October 30, 2007 Monday Night game against the Denver Broncos when Favre threw the 82 yard game winning touchdown pass to Jennings for the first play in OT.

Favre lost his idol, his mentor, his father. When he decided to suit up and play against Oakland Raiders with the heaviest heart..and absolutely shredded their defense. Just thinking how hard it is to concentrate and focus at home after a situation like that let alone playing a game. It was amazing to watch and absorb.

Has to be the Monday night game on Dec. 22 2003. Favre lost his father the night before and decided to play. I'll never forget the standing ovation he got in Oakland. You could tell his father was there with him. Throwing 4 TDs and almost 400 yards in a rout. Playing with tears in his eyes the entire time. His father had been to every game since 5th grade and coached him in highschool.

Thinking of one particular moment brings back so many good (and some frustrating lol) memories. The greatest thing I can remember about Brett Favre is the hope he gave me and every fan, each and every Sunday he played. I can remember having a feeling that no matter what, the Packers had a chance with Brett running the show. He did some incredible and inspiring things on the field. He gave us his all. We are truly a lucky fan base to have back to back future hall of fame quarterbacks and fantastic coaching staffs.

My personal favorite Farve moment was going to the Superbowl pre-party in San Diego and meeting Brett and his father Irving and getting autographs from them both. The reason it was so special to me was because I too was with my dad and it was just cool to see how proud Irving was of his son Brett.

Growing up in California as a Packer fan was the best but also hard because i wished i could of attended home games every Sunday. I have alot of memories of Favre over the years, that leadership he brought Will always be special. My favorite Favre moment was in 2007 when he broke the all time passing record with a pass to Donald Driver to me it was a special moment because I've watched him every Sunday battle and he definitely deserved it.

Glad to have Favre back in the fold.

Truly so many incredible FAVRE moments it is hard to choose just one! After a along family discussion we decided it HAS to be winning the Super Bowl watching his excitement and the thrill we all had watching him run around the field like a school kid. We think that moment in particular summed up his great team playing talent! ALL PACKER fans lived vicariously through him that day! Truly a blessing to be a PACKER fan!!!

There are so many but one of my favorites I would have to say is when he played his heart out in the game the day after his dad died. He was flawless.

My favorite Brett memory is not so much about Brett as it is about my Mom. She got such a kick out of Brett Favre - like he was one of her kids. And like one of her own kids she'd alternate between love and frustration, but he always gave us something to talk about!

I will never forget the game Brett played in after his Father died. He played an amazing game to honor his Father the best way he knew how. That was an incredible game and to play as well as he did with the heavy heart he must have had. That game shows how great he was. You just knew he was playing this to honor his Dad. I am sure his Dad was there that day feeling so very proud of his son.

My favorite Brett Favre memory is the moment it ALL began...

I remember my dad was visiting and we were playing pool watching the Packer game (special day for me to be able to see my dad who had moved away back in 1999, so just being able to watch a Packer game and hang out means the world to me, wish we could do it more often) and Brett's dad had just passed away. That game was amazing, he played with a heavy heart and did his father proud. I know his father was watching and smiling the whole time! Absolutely the best moment ever, me and my dad (my best friend) watching Brett play for his dad! Been to a few games in Chicago with my dad (never to Lambeau) to watch the Pack beat the Bears (one was the NFC Champ game) but this game def stands out as the best!

One of my favorite memories of Favre ("favorite" may not be the best term, given the sad circumstances) was the Monday Night Football game he played the day after his father's death. It's a game that still gives me goosebumps when reading about it or watching highlights. An incredible performance on the national stage with what had to have been extreme emotions. Not only (statistically) one of Favre's best career games, it was also an important victory for the Packers season at the time.

I only got to see him play in person once, and that's my favorite Favre memory. He blew up the Lions at Lambeau in a mostly-meaningless game at the end of the season, really cold, with seats in the top row, but there was something special about seeing him "in real life" instead of on the TV... there was no way I was leaving before the clock was all zeros. (Plus I went with a Lions-fan friend, so that made it hilarious.)

Mine is more of a personal memory, but still my favorite: Naming our daughter, born this April, after him...Olivia Brett!
