We Don\'t Know Jack

I was perusing the transcript of Mike McCarthy's latest press conference (so you don't have to...ok ok, it's because I'm pathetic, OK?) and I came across this nugget o' gold regarding the run game.

We haven't really gone into a bunch of the outside lead zone. We've done some inside lead zone. We do some things where you're not going to cut. Jacksonville for example, they went backdoor on us and line stunted us. A lot is made of the cut blocking. You watch the individual drills everyday. It's a big part of what we do technique wise. Hopefully we'll have more opportunities to do it in the future.

OK, kids. Who can tell me what the parts in BOLD mean? What's that? You don't know? Exactly. It's easy for fans and even the media to say 'the running games in trouble'. Oh really? Have you considered that our running game is predicated on several factors coming into play, and not all of those have been implemented thus far? Have you taken into consideration that we have basically run three running plays, just from different formations, all preseason? This is what I can't stand about August. Calm down people. If we can't run the ball the few first games of the season, then talk to me. Otherwise, relax.
