Where oh where is the money going to come from? If money is available, I like your picks. Realistically, the two bears are most likely due to costs. Hicks and the ST player would be awesome to add and bring value to the team.

Hicks next to Clark would make a dominant combo. He has been injured 2 of the last 3 seasons and is long in the tooth. However, on a contending team without drawing double teams, he could have a great season.

Jakeem Grant or Nwosu seem the most likely to be looked at by Gute and Co. Our cap situation says we can look but cannot shop, in FA. If Ball figures a way to do the math, either of these guys would be solid for GB. I think Mathieu will be too expensive. Other than that, we can hope the FO finds a way to get one of those guys. I'm leaning for Grant. GO PACK, GO!

Yes, where would the money come from?

I'd rather resign some of our players. Someone like MVS, or Williams, or Rasul.

Everyone clammoring for a WR in round 1. Other than Jefferson, Chase, or Randy Moss how many WR's come into the league and tear it up in year 1? Usually it takes about 3 years on average before a WR comes into their own.

The Packers window and Rodger's relationship likely to be about two years. If the Packers want to make a difference in this year's draft that shows up in wins/losses they likely need to somehow (dont believe they can resign MVS), and then draft a DL or Edge Rusher. Guys who you plug and play immediately with 30 to 50 plays a game.

My exception at WR in round 1 would be Jameson William's who being injured would be available mid-year or later. Exceptional talent in the mold of Jefferson or Chase and available going into playoffs.

Usually it takes about 3 years on average. So True if you take them Lower in the draft. Yet- Look at Lazard. It's who can catch the BALL! Most WRs had trouble because of their drops/Fumbles/ Route running. It takes a player who can get off the Line first. Then the separation.///// The quickest way to help this Defense, is the DL. Not Edge Rusher. They need a veteran at Edge Rusher. The ILB can be done with a faster , bigger built LB. They will be gone by the end of the second rd. You will only have a developmental players after rd. 2.

Alec Pierce from the Bearcats fills the #two pick spot. Move up for him or take him @ # 28. No sweat. The D-line people will be gone by the early twenties. Extend Preston Smith for edge and draft a guy with a two pick or the three.

Just from last years draft alone:

Ja'Marr Chase 81/1455/13
Jaylen Waddle 104/1015/6
DeVonta Smith 64/916/5

It happens. By the way, those numbers would blow away any receivers on GB last year not named Adams.

Thank you, thank you, thank you! Finally, someone blows up the Packer Fanboy myth that WRs can’t be good in year 1. There are a number of them ever year. Not, I grant you, in the 5th round but in rounds 1 and 2. Here is another news flash: Contrary to Fanboy mythology, if you draft the right QB he doesn’t have to sit on the bench for 4 years before becoming a quality starter.
