DT Dave Tollefson said by phone that visit with Raiders went well. Headed home without contract, though. Visiting Titans on Thursday.

Tollefson visited the Packers at length last weekend but left Green Bay without a contract. Andrew Brandt, a former team executive, reported earlier Tuesday that the Packers remain in the hunt for Tollefson, a six-year NFL veteran who began his career in Green Bay in 2006.

Hes gotta be working on some kind of record for FA visits. Im starting to think him and Demetrius Bell are trying for the NFL's version of a "Big Year".

At a reasonable price he could be a valuable situational player for several years, the kind that the coaches value because of his consistency and even more valuable if they add a pass rushing defensive end and/or a pass rushing right outside linebacker. This was a role that Thompson paid surprisingly big money on when he signed Brandon Chiller.
