Report: Jordy Nelson Sitting Out of Packers Practice

Green Bay Packers training camp practice is closed to the public on Monday, but according to Tom Silverstein of JSOnline, who's there in person:

Nelson is fresh off signing a four-year, $39 million contract extension just before the start of training camp.

He sat out of the team's preseason opener this past Saturday against the Tennessee Titans, same as quarterback Aaron Rodgers and running back Eddie Lacy, all presumed to be precautionary in a meaningless exhibition game.

Silverstein indicates there might be more than meets the eye with Nelson:

Packers head coach Mike McCarthy will likely address the injury following practice at 2:30 p.m. CT, which will be streamed live on Packers.com.
