Report: Dominic Raiola Loses Appeal, Won't Play at Packers

According to Mike Garafolo of Fox Sports:

Raiola was originally suspended on Monday for a violation of the NFL's safety-related rules after stomping on Chicago Bears defensive lineman Ego Ferguson this past Sunday.

This marks Raiola's sixth safety-related rules violation since 2010.

The coaching staff should inform the team that any retalitory action after being provoked by the Lion "thugs" will lead to a significant fine no matter who it is on the team that does it (drive it home especially to the special teamers). Fortunately since the Forrest Gregg days the green and gold have never brought themselves down to the Lions level. The Bears game with the Charles Martin and Ken Still's cheap shots embarrased the entire organization and led to Gregg going to SMU.

The Packers don't keep those kinds of guys on the team. That's the difference between then and the Lions.

Even if the lions weren't coming to our town I would be happy to read this. Dirty players need to be kept off of the field.

The way the bears d line was all over stafford, I think there are serious worries in Mo Down.

Lions need to dump Riola in the off-season. I get that he is a decent player, but if they want to change the culture and become winners, then they need to lose this relic of the past. Releasting Riola and spending their money on someone other than Suh would tell the rest of the team that the bush-league days are over.
