Is Taylor just big and powerful, or can he run too? In other words, is Taylor swift?

Leatherhead claims special teams have little or no impact; I’ll never agree with him on this point. I believe they often impact the game significantly.

Given what I saw of the Packer special teams against Houston, I think we would be better off taking Leatherhead's suggestion of punting out of bounds on every punt. The coverage units were bad.

We could have prevented the run backs by pruning out of bounds.

I claim special teams have a big impact, usually adverse. That’s why I think you should minimize the opportunity to lose the game on special teams.

Also, Jackson fielded a punt at the 5 and returned it to the 12, but a block in the back moved us back. Why do we keep giving the bottom of our roster the ability to lose games for us.

You have no idea what you're looking at if you think that play was anything close to what Redmond did in the NFCCG

I know Nags isn't going to talk 2022. A lot of people are. So I have one question for TGR. Is it even possible for the Packers to restructure #12's contract, not cut the crap out of his salary, and not have to cut the crap out of the rest of the roster in 2022? Because I don't see it.

The Packers could easily have offered Rodgers a massive signing bonus and restructured his contract at the beginning of this year. They made no significant offer despite media reports leaked from the Packers' front office. That is why Rodgers will be leaving next year. Gutekunst has gambled the Packers' future on his wasteful and hopelessly premature selection of JLo while operating under the misguided assumption that Rodgers had nothing left in the tank. And as AR12 famously stated, his MVP season has thrown a wrench into the Gutekunst plan. Yes, it is important to draft a QB heir a few years too early rather than a few years too late. But Rodgers had already indicated his desire to play out his career with the Pack and implied that he was wiling to play into his 40s a la Brady and Brees. Gutekunst ignored AR12's commitment and drafted Love instead, with no prior warning or consultation. And despite what Rodgers says, it would seem obvious that the Love pick is the main reason Rodgers decided his time at Green Bay had come to an end and he was looking to get out of Dodge. Gutekunst has achieved his objective at the expense of two or possibly three seasons with one of the best QBs in NFL history and last year's MVP at the helm of the team. There is no turning back from that. And, to answer the question after my diatribe, the Packers will gladly let Rodgers go to save on cap space in 2022. Even signing Adams to a massive contract may run counter to Gutekunst's master plan since Love will be running the offense and he would probably perform just as well (i.e. not at a Super Bowl level) with MVS, Amari Rodgers, Lazard et al as he would with $23 million per year WR DA. No one at CHTV will say it, but the odds are against Love performing at championship level. It is a roll of the dice.
