Packers Training Camp, Minicamp and OTA Dates Set

The first training camp practice will be held on Thursday July 26 with players reporting the previous day.

The Green Bay Packers announced the dates of several key events on Tuesday including the first day of training camp practice on Thursday July 26.

Players will report to training camp on Wednesday July 25, which is preceded by the team's annual shareholders meeting on Tuesday July 24.

Rookie orientation camp will take one week later than usual from May 11 to 13. The newly drafted players and rookie free agents would typically come to Green Bay the weekend following the draft in year's past, but this season it will be two weeks after the draft.

Organized team activities (OTAs), the first opportunity for rookies to practice with the rest of the team, will occur during the weeks of May 21, May 28 and June 4.

Practices open to the public during OTAs will be at Ray Nitschke Field Tuesday May 22, Wednesday May 30 and Tuesday June 5, weather permitting.

The mandatory minicamp all players are contractually obligated to attend is from June 12 to 14.
