Packers' Super Bowl Odds Get Shorter on Season Opener

On the day of the NFL's season opener, online oddsmaker Bovada.lv updated their pro football odds, and the Green Bay Packers saw their odds drop in every updated category.

The Packers' odds of winning the Super Bowl XLIX dropped from 10-1 on July 31 to 9-1 on Sept. 4, the day the Packers take on the Seattle Seahawks in the NFL Kickoff game.

Only the Denver Broncos (11-2), Seahawks, (6-1), San Francisco 49ers (8-1) and New England Patriots (8-1) have shorter odds.

The odds of the Packers winning the NFC Conference championship also dropped from 6-1 to 11-2 on the same dates.

Finally, the Packers' odds of winning the NFC North division dropped from 10-11 to 5-8.
