Packers Question of the Day: Upcoming Schedule

Three of the Packers' next four opponents have records below .500, with the exception of the Steelers. That includes Baltimore, Tampa Bay and Cleveland, who all pose as winnable games for an Aaron Rodgers-less Packers. Especially after their win over the Bears on Sunday, there's reason for hope.

If the Packers can win at least two of those games by the time they face the Panthers in week 15 -- when Rodgers is estimated to potentially return from his collarbone injury -- they'd be sitting at 7-6 with a chance to make a run at a wild card spot. That is, if the division is out of reach (Vikings gonna Viking).

What is your prediction for the Packers from now until mid-December?

Baltimore has a pretty good defense, but no offense. TB will be on their 2nd string QB, and the Browns are the Browns. So the Pack could win those games, just not sure they will. I don't see Rodgers coming back from that kind of surgery and being that effective.

I am encouraged. The offense strung a few drives together which keeps the defense off the field which means less fatigue and less of a chance of mental breakdown.
I really hope that Capers runs for office on his HOA in Florida. We need something new and fresh in the way of an attacking defense. Jim Swartz is kind of a pud as a head coach but he sure can draw up a defense. Maybe we have somebody on staff that be an innovative coordinator.

I think we'll need a healthy Morgan Burnett and Kings shoulder needs to not limit him, (or from keeping him out) to have a chance of wining some of these games. Getting Monty back would help our odds, also.

If you would have asked this question after the Lions game, I would have answered 0-4. Now, I'll go with 2-2? Hundley is still a question mark as he keeps developing.

I believe that we can and should go 3-1with a loss to the Steelers, and I'm bettin' on it. But not with money.

Yes. The defense has problems with veteran QBs.
The offense has problems with confidence.
Special teams are iffy at best.
Packers 27 Ravens 23.

One game at a time. Let's beat the Ravens first. Yes, we should beat the Browns and the Bucs but this team has a ridiculous habit of playing "down" to their competition.

While the defense played better against the Bears they still have the ability to make any previously unheard of QB turn into Johnny Unitas or Joe Montana. Nearly 300 yards passing allowed for a QB with a previous average of 125 passing yards per game is a bit disturbing even with the victory. Also, I still have little confidence that they can hold a lead late in the 4th quarter if necessary.

What is most important going forward is the level of play of our OL. If they play solidly and give Hundley a chance our offense can get the ground game going and keep our defense off the field. As the weather turns cold we will need to run the ball effectively.

The Packers need to stop leaving yards and points on the field. Can we ever get a clean game from our Special Teams?

I know that I should be satisfied with our defense making stops but it would be really good to see them create a turnover or two during these games. Can they get off the field consistently before allowing an opponent to score?

The Ravens will be coming to Lambeau knowing that their season is on the line. The question is will they play like it? As for the Packers which Packer team will show up? The team that sleepwalked through the Saints and Lions game at Lambeau or the team that played hard and showed some life against the Bears on the road?

The Packers need to play like their season is on the line because it is and they cannot play like ARod will come back and save the season because he may not be able to get back. In any case we'll have our answer on Sunday.

Beat the Ravens, Bucs and Browns and we can be 8-5 with 3 games to play if/when ARod returns even with a loss in Pittsburgh. Thanks, Since '61

This is the must game for the Packers. The Ravens are not the Bears. They need this game too. A-Rod won't be back. Face it!! The NFL knows they have a shot to beat the packers. NO Matter What now! Their not going to just roll over, and will try to persevere. The Haters are grinning ear to ear. Playoff hopes are on Hundleys shoulders. Yes. But The defense must stay healthy. They must come to play every-week. The offense just is not going to put up the points. The veterans must lead the way. It's their time. Their season, and for pride.

I live in the Baltimore area and see the Ravens all the time. They are hard to figure - throttle the Raiders in Oakland and lose the the Bears at home. Get pummeled by the Jags in London and yet crush a hot Dolphins team, etc. Overall, they are capable of playing much better than the Bears. We will need continued improvement from Hundley and the offense and better defense against a (potentially, anyway) solid QB and receiver corps.
If we can win this Ravens game I believe we can beat Tampa and Cleveland to be 8-5 with 3 to play and then anything is possible.

Ravens: riding the momentum
Steelers: secondary exposed again L
TB: for some reason this team always give them problems, but Hundley's continued improvement gets them to a W
Cleveland: a surging team takes nothing for granted. Packers goto Carolina at 8-5 but lose
Rodgers returns to beat both MN and Detroit and Packers get a wildcard berth

Very winnable games coming up. Very amped I am going to Charlotte for the week 15 game, hopefully we will still be in the playoff race then, and a potential Mr. Rodgers return.

None of these games are gimmies. The browns had the lions on the ropes last week and have talent in need of a qb. Probably more talented then the packers.
tampa qb could be back by when we play them
It will be a good test to see how this team stacks up.
My take, lose these three and things need to change in a big way. Cant use rogers as excuse.
