Packers Practice Report: LB Nick Perry Sits Out

The former first round draft choice reportedly did not take part in Wednesday's practice.

Green Bay Packers outside linebacker Nick Perry did not take part in Wednesday's practice, the team's first of the week, as they began on-field preparations for the Minnesota Vikings, according to Rob Demvosky of ESPN.com:

Perry has started the each of the past two games since the Packers moved Clay Matthews to inside linebacker.

The reason for Perry's non-participation has yet to be revealed, although the Packers will release its injury report later Wednesday afternoon.

Defensive back Jarrett Bush was also a surprise non-participant. Neither he nor Perry had injuries disclosed in the aftermath of this past Sunday's game against the Philadelphia Eagles.

Tight end Brandon Bostick remains out. Bostick did not practice last week and didn't play in the Eagles game.

On the positive side of the ledger, outside linebacker Jayrone Elliott returned to practice after missing all of last week's sessions. He's been dealing with a hamstring injury.

Meanwhile, offensive linemen Josh Sitton (toe) and T.J. Lang (ankle) took part in only the team's walk-through, per Tom Silverstein of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinal via Twitter.

Sitton and Lang were listed as "limited" last Wednesday as well, which could become a trend as they continue to recover from their respective injuries.
