Packers Calendar: First Night Practice of Training Camp

Practice will take place under the lights of Ray Nitschke Field in Green Bay at 7:00 p.m. CT.

Green Bay Packers training camp resumes on Friday evening with the first nighttime practice of the year, taking place under the lights of Ray Nitschke Field.

The session, which is open to the public, commences at 7:00 p.m.

It's the fourth of five consecutive days of padded practice in Green Bay, a rare occurrence in the modern NFL. The team will be preparing for Saturday's annual intra-squad scrimmage, dubbed Family Night and taking place at Lambeau Field.

The forecast calls for temperatures in the mid-70s for practice, perhaps dipping down into the high-60s by the end, but only a 10 percent chance of rain.

Early in training camp, the Packers have avoided serious injury, but still have a dozen or so players missing time and are awaiting their return. Those closest to returning to action would appear to be linebackers Dezman Moses and Nate Palmer and wide receivers Charles Johnson and Kevin Dorsey.

Following practice, head coach Mike McCarthy's press conference will be streamed live at the team's official website at Packers.com.

Also on Friday, former Packers linebacker Dave Robinson will be recognized at the Pro Football Hall of Fame in Canton, Oh. during the annual Enshrinees' Gold Jacket Dinner, taking place at 5:15 p.m. ET.

Earlier in the day, other Packers inducted into the Hall of Fame have been invited to take part in the institution's golden anniversary reunion photo-op, taking place at 11:00 a.m. ET on the steps to the Hall.
