My two cents:

Packers wanted Shazier badly. So did Pittsburgh and Dallas. Bookmark this post: He is this year's Clay Matthews. Ha-Ha next best for need.

The only TE that "fits" what the Packers want their TE to be is Seferian-Jenkins. Will have to leap-frog/outcompete alot of teams with position/ammo/need (Seattle-they flirted with Finley--, Buffalo, Giants, Balt, NE, Dall) in second.

If they cant get SJ, I'd rather they get the best center (Martin/Richburg-sorry Tretter) who also will be gone at the end of the second and then a one-dimensional TE (and hope Bostick continues to develop). Some rare earth/TT special CB (Tramon done?) and DL this year in the remaining rounds.

Allow Barrington+ room to grow and address next year if still a problem.

I'd like to go TE in the 2nd (ASJ) and then LB/WR in the 3rd (I think I'd lean toward Van Noy...). They can grab an OG/C in the 4th.

I know they won't be, but for arguments sake if all those players would be available at 53, I'll take ASJ. Good all around TE and we can still get a very good WR with one of our 3rd rounders. Van Noy would be my 2nd favorite option. I can't wait for tonight!!!!

As of right now I'm hoping Troy Niklas is available at the 53rd pick, but not sure how the Packers value his talent level verses what else may be available at that pick.

I like all of those receivers but would probably side with Donte Moncrief as being the guy of that group I'd like to see picked.

I'm not sold on the linebackers having the value needed at 53, but I suppose I'd project Carl Bradford as the best fit for the Packers of those 3. On a side note: I'd rather the Packers pick Yarwin Smallwood, but they'd probably be able to grab him in the 3rd round instead.

Those O-linemen could be options, but unless TT sees their value noticeably exceeding those of other positions then I just don't think the Pack goes that direction because it is about BAP but players that are projected to have value within a similar range are then valued per need and I think OL isn't as high on TT's need list as ILB and TE or maybe WR; it might be around the value of DL and CB because I believe the Packers think Tretter will be able to get the job done or that some other temporary fill-in that's on the team already can until Tretter establishes himself. I could be wrong here, but it's just the way I'm feeling -- I felt the same way last year about the Packs' views on the Safety position and that proved right in regards to their draft strategy and wrong in regards to how reality played out during the season so I'm just going with my gut on this one too in regards to the Packer's draft strategy whether or not it's actually the right or wrong decision.

I would add that if somehow Gaines, Nix, Hageman, or Tuitt are available at 53 I think the Packers would be hard pressed not to consider drafting one of them given their draft philosophy of BAP because I think their talent possibilities and value stand noticeably above what the team would have in several of these other players - just my opinion though.

Hageman, Tuitt and ASJ are on some people's watch list, either for medical or off field reasons. Tuitt, Lee, Nix, Hageman and probably Moncrief are unlikely to be there, but I would take one of them too, L. I pass on all the LBs and Cs listed and on Amaro in round 2. In order, I would take Lee, Moncrief, Tuitt, Nix, Hageman, ASJ, or Niklas.
