A lot of repetition here to the point where you talk about the differences with PFF and yourself without ever touching on why the difference because of patting yourself on the back.
I don't recall your putting the Hyde or Randall situations into detail like this either

Keep an eye out for the article on Friday, as it'll be much more in depth with how I graded Amos.
As far as HaHa and the differences in grading... I'm not sure how I'm supposed to touch on the differences of how PFF graded him if I don't know everything that went into their grading system. I know they value turnovers a ton which helped HaHa. It wasn't to pat myself on the back, in fact that was the reason I went back and watched the tape over again and got reviews from others who watch tape as well.
As far as Hyde/Randall, I wasn't grading tape back when Hyde left and wasn't writing for CHTV... hence... no article or breakdown. For Randall I didn't provide a breakdown because 1) I already had grades on him, and 2) because he didn't leave for a division rival whilst we also picked up a player at the same position from their team. It wasn't apples to apples. I don't go back and re-grade players who left the team, I grade players who are on the team or joining the team...

Great stuff.
Crosby: $3.45M in cap savings is big. I don't think people realize how short GB is on cap, not so much in 2019 but also for 2020. The $3.45M could be rolled over. Yes, the $1.25M dead is a bummer.
Marcedes: He has probably earned his workout bonus by now, so his dead money is $550K instead of $500K.
Kizer: The haters will scoff at this, but Kizer has 16 games of starting experience. I still remember Ben Fennell's tweet suggesting that Kizer was an average starting QB between the 20s. GB isn't so hot when it starts within its own 10 yard line, and it wasn't good in the red zone last year. Not espousing here, I actually like Boyle a lot and favor keeping both on the 53.
Gilbert: he does have experience in real games.
As for the issue of your grades versus PFF's, I have the same issue when my interpretation of the CBA differs from Jason Fitzgerald's interpretation (or Joel Corry's, et al). When there is a difference, you go back and watch film and I read the CBA yet again, but I figure Fitzgerald is right and I missed something.
Right now Jason Fitzgerald has written that teams can do something but I can't find any basis for it in the CBA. It may be that I am looking for language permitting it, but it might be that there is no language prohibiting it. That's why some lawyers wear $4,000 suits. At any rate, it is holding up an article.

Great piece, really enjoyed hearing the breakdown of Amos. I know you touched on Eddie Jackson potentially being an impact and you spoke about the games that Jackson missed. What about the Bears defense overall having an impact on Amos' grade. The Packers D doesn't/didn't put as much pressure on the QB, which requires them to release the ball quicker.
I am also looking forward to a breakdown of the Smith's.
