Our biggest need is the interior of the O line. Safeties don't prevent QB injury.

What about the hybrid LB / DB player we've heard talked about from 1265? If the new DC sees that as being valuable I'd be alright with using the first pick on that, or a great S who can contribute right away. Generally I'd rather see priority given to the O line though, those are the ones preventing injury to the QB.

Nixon is not good enough to play Nickel as a starter-Keep him as a returner.
Stokes is injured too often and has regressed.
GB needs 2 really good corners and a legit Safety. Savage is inconsistent.

You can find CBs later, particularly slot types. We have Alexander, Valentine shows promise. Stokes may be allowed to press cover. We have Zilch at safety other than development prospects.

NFL teams ignore middle of the field defenders at their own peril. These days there's more action in the middle of the field than outside of it. A playmaking safety is just as valuable as a good CB, especially one with great range.

If we could get some good draft picks - size speed tackling coverage, I would replace all these guys except Jairre, ballen and vallen tines.
