A study by the National institute of Health (gov) found that a group of athletes who performed the Nordic Hamstring Protocol 5 times preseason and two times during the season suffered 70% fewer hamstring injuries than the control group. Were those Packers who had previous hamstring injuries using the protocol? If not. Why? Arguably Christian Watson is our best receiver and he had hamstring issues last year. It is beginning to look like this is a chronic issue for Watson. So, this is really bad news. Does someone need to be held accountable? Maybe even Watson himself? This needs to be addressed and corrected by the training staff sooner rather than later. It is way too soon for the injury bug.
