I cant wait to see when I`m going to Philly and the Meadowlands. I just hope they are not scheduled for any Monday nighters that would suck.

I will be going to the game in Philly with a friend that lives in Jersey. I'm actually kind of nervous. Heard horror stories about Philly fans.

(posted this on jsonline as well)
.
Took a little look at the CBS player rankings. Found a couple of things
that seemed interesting (to me anyhow)...
-
0 SS in top 50 2 in top 100
-
1 C in the top 50 (Pouncey) 2 in top 100
-
1 ILB in the top 50 (McClain) 4 in top 100
-
1 OG in the top 50 (Iupati) 2
-
3 FS in the top 50 5
-
3 RB in top 50 7
-
3 TE in top 50 7
-
3 WR in top 50 11
-
4 QB in top 50 6
-
5 DE in the top 50 9
-
5 OLB in top 50 11
-
6 DT in the top 50 11
-
7 OT in top 50 10
-
8 CB in the top 50 13 in the top 100
-
What do these #'s show me?
.
1 - don't draft a SS this year... the suck.
.
2 - you can wait a long time and still get a quality OLB, DT, OT, or CB in
this draft (all positions the Pack seems to "need").
.
3 - if you want to get a good C, ILB, or OG you better grab one early.
.
4. - if the importance of a position is factored into the rankings then C's, ILB's, and OG's must not be nearly as important as DT's, OT's and CB's.
.
Granted, you can find all sorts of rankings out there. But I expect that
most of them are fairly similar to these. Kinda makes me think that -if
the opportunity presents itself- the Pack should grab Pouncey, Iupati, or
McClain. Slim chance of any of them being around at pick #23... but if
one of them falls TT might have to abandon "need" altogether (as is usually the case) and pull the trigger.

So is there a Cheesehead Nation contingent ready to conspire for a group outing to NY, NE, Philly, etc? Because I am in for any of those three, and have some fans interested in collaboration and laying down a tailgating less on these east coast rookies.

Me and my son are going to the Philly and NY games. I`m down with tailgating. Are they going to allow it in the new Meadowlands stadium?

There's plenty of parking lot to tailgate in at New Meadowlands, but I've heard a rumor that parking will not be available without a season pass. With the train station, I think they want to make the tailgating another concession opportunity. Its also a unique setup because there is no place to park around outside of the complex and walk in, its all marshes. Maybe Xanadu will allow tailgaters.
