ICYMI: Packers unveil their 2018 training camp schedule

-- The Green Bay Packers unveiled their 2018 training camp schedule on Friday, marking the 73rd time in team history that the organization prepares for the annual series of summer practices.

Much like previous years, each practice will take place at Ray Nitschke Field barring inclement weather. Should any unforeseen weather disrupt the standard proceedings, practices will be closed to the public and moved indoors to the Don Hutson Center.

Via the press release, the Packers also noted that the practice times (listed in the above graphic) are subject to change.

The Packers have several key dates throughout the summer, including their four preseason games amidst their practice schedule.

The players will initially report to training camp on Wednesday, July 25, and coach Mike McCarthy will have his introductory press conference at 10 a.m. CT. The first practice takes place the next day at 11:30 a.m. CT.

The week following, the Packers' 18th annual Family Night practice will fall on Saturday, August 4 at 7:30 p.m. CT. The team will run through a regular practice as they would during the week, only with what is slated to be 70,000 fans in attendance at Lambeau Field.

Like previous Family Nights, the Pick 'n Save Fireworks Show will culminate the night's festivities.

The Packers' first two preseason games, both at home, are as followed:

*Thursday, August 9, 7:00 p.m: Tennessee Titans

* Thursday, August 16, 7:00 p.m: Pittsburgh Steelers

The Packers then close out their exhibition season with two consecutive road games:

*Friday, August 24, 9:30 p.m: at Oakland Raiders

*Thursday, August 30, 7:30 p.m: at Kansas City Chiefs

The Packers' 15 practices match their total from last year. They've gradually decreased the number of practice sessions during training camp since 2010 when McCarthy and co. hosted 25.

Also, according to the team's release, the Packers are expecting approximately "90,000 visitors from across the nation and as many as 20 foreign countries," for both training camp and Family Night.
