Early Report: Packers Rookie TE Colt Lyerla Sprains Knee

Initial indication on @LongLiveLyerla is a knee sprain but still awaiting confirmation from the MRI. That would not be season-ending.

Lyerla injured his knee during Saturday's Family Night practice at Lambeau Field, hurdling a defender after catching a pass before being tackled.
The rookie tight end was carted off the field and later spotted with crutches following practice.
Monday evening is the next time the Packers practice at 5:30 p.m. CT.

Ever since Nick Collins career ending injury, I cringe whenever I see a hurdle play.
