Daryn Colledge Reportedly Signs His Tender

Drayn Colledge reportedly showed up at Lambeau today, signed his tender and started working out.

That's the word from Rob Demovsky:

Packers guard Daryn Colledge showed up at Lambeau today, signed his RFA tender and started workouts, according to an NFL source.

That leaves Johnny Jolly, Tramon Williams and Atari Bigby as the only RFAs who have not signed their tenders.

What other choice did he have? They weren't breaking the doors down at the price the Packers are willing to pay. That and a #2 draft choice.

They must be filming an episode of the Colledge experience on how Newhouse is going to take his job.

Technically, it looks to be that Spitz will be the one taking his job, but you were coming from a good place.

Glab he's back. I think he realizes he has to show good effort and work hard to keep his job. I'm OK with the money.

glab should be a word. sounds like a term that could be used to describe the loose flesh hanging off the bottom of an old woman's arm... "That blue-haired devil's sure got some serious glab. She should put her arms down."

Yes! He's the best O-Lineman on the team! I'm so glad he's back as a Packer because now our O-Line is the best in the NFL!!!!!

As time passes, Bigby and Williams still not signing is worrisome. Especially Bigby.

We need depth and talent at the safety position. Bigby can play.

Remember last year when after a few games Rouse was cut and we were looking everywhere to fill the position?

I know we drafted a safety, but he is a rookie, Bigby is needed to at least to start the season and provides good depth.

I will feel better about our secondary if these guys will sign.

Not really. We're well aware how good he is against the run. And he has very good ball skills. But it's kinda hard to consider him a though loss when we had such a hard time bringing heat from the middle, and Jolly had 0 sacks, and very little QB pressures...
