Clowney!

I'm sure no one cares, but David Clowney, the Packers' fifth round pick from last year who was cut by the Pack at the end of training camp and picked up by the Jets (and by the way David - maybe now is a good time to switch your official website so that it no longer shows you in a Green Bay uniform with Lambeau Field in the background. Just a hunch...), and who was teased mercifully by Corey and I in our podcasts, reeled in not one but two 70 yard touchdowns last night against the Browns.

Just wanted to draw attention to Clowney's good play so as to try to make some type of karmic amends...

Excellent. That kid was quite raw, if I remember correctly. Good to see that he's developing. I think the Packers tried to stash him on their practice squad, but couldn't get him past waivers without other teams nabbing him. So it goes when you have a deep team.

Not dissimilar to Dave Tollefson, who Thompson also drafted, and who played a fair number of downs as a back-up DE for the Giants in the playoffs.

Well remembered on Tollefson. And you're right, they did try to sneak Clowney onto the practice squad. But what's funny is that after the Jets claimed him, he ended up on their practice squad.
