It comes to you as a digital download for a simple and fast way to get the guide in your hands as soon as it's published.

The 2024 Draft team is already at work, watching film, researching prospects, and putting together our feature articles.

Our publication includes:

  • Over 250 college prospects ranked and analyzed by position from the top players to the undrafted free agents.
  • Analysis of the top 20 players at each position.
  • Game video of the top 3 prospects at each position.
  • A position-by-position breakdown of the Packers roster to see how players will fit in Green Bay.
  • In-depth feature articles on the Packers.
  • Packers' team needs and those of all NFC North teams analyzed and discussed.
  • An entire seven-round Packers-specific mock draft predicting who they'll select.
  • A first round mock draft for every NFL team.
  • A Top-100 prospect "Packers Big Board."
  • Packers Draft Trivia
  • Stunning graphic design and high-resolution color photography.
  • And so, so much more.

This year we have FOUR absolutely OUTSTANDING and entertaining feature articles.

  • "An Insiders Look at the Long NFL Draft Path for Non-Combine Invitees " - Tazim Wajid Walid (Christian Watson's father) pulls back the curtains and reveals how marginal prospects improve their draft stock and how teams evaluate these players.
  • "The Hafley Defense - A philosophy of Aggression Comes to Green Bay"- Dusty Evely Of CheeseHeadTV and Pack-A-Day looks back at Hafley's career, his philosophies on defense and how current players and some draft prospects fit.
  • "The Young Guns" - Paul Bretl of Packers Wire does a deep dive on the Packers WR room and examines how their skills compliment each other and their fit in LaFleur's scheme.
  • "Non Power-5 Hidden Gems" - NFL Draft Analyst Rob Reger identifies potential smaller-school draft "sleepers" to keep an eye on.
  • "NOT a Packers Draft Choice" - Packers Draftnik Brian Maafi of ATB Network tells you about some players the Packers SHOULD NOT draft and why.

The guide will be available for ordering April 3rd, giving you plenty of time to be fully prepared for draft weekend.

Remember, we bring you quality Packers content every day on our website for free. We charge for this guide so that we can pay the staff that puts so many hours into this effort. Even if you are not a big NFL Draft person, I hope you'll pick up a copy as a way of saying "thank you for all you do" to our writers. Think of it as buying us a 12-pack of beer.

OK, enough pleading... Still not convinced? Here is last year's guide in it's entirety for you to view (click the full screen icon for easier viewability). We're confident you'll love it.

Thanks Al. I'm sure you'll remind me when April comes around.

I'm very interested how the draft guys will navigate through the unknowns with the new DC so the "Hafley Defense" article really draws my interest.

I'd put a Draft history of picks in it.

I get it, but that's rote information you can find anywhere. Best place might be here: https://www.pro-football-reference.com/teams/gnb/draft.htm

It would also be a bitch to have to format it for the guide and then have to re-format it every year. It's really more trouble than it's worth and I'd rather focus on unique content - after all, we are charging for it.

Historically how have you done with your picks on the Packers 100 big board vs who they actually picked?

I don't know historically - but I checked on last year and seven of the Packers first eight picks we had ranked 112 or higher on our Big Board.

The Packers have been trending on X at or near the top since the super bowl ended last night.
The expectations on them are going to be huge in 24. I hope they embrace it, if that’s possible. They will need some draft picks to break into the starting lineup I would think.

Sign me up, baby!
I especially love the “how he fits with GB” angle on the various prospects.

It's too late baby, now it's too late
though I really did try to want it
Something inside has died
and I can't hide it, I just can't take it.

I understand the difficulties of producing this when the combine ends on March 3rd, but I'd love to see the guide come out just after mid-March. When April hits, I've already overdosed on Draft stuff and am just waiting for the real thing to arrive on 25 April.

Maybe if most of the guide was written BEFORE the combine and then all that is needed is to proof-read and update the information post-combine - and add maybe one article purely about Indy. Perhaps you do this already, I don't know, but the bottom line is I'd love it so much more if it came out 2-3 weeks earlier.

It's not that there isn't good stuff in there..........and Packer-specific stuff, too, it's just that I've eaten too much draft stuff by then and I'm too full up to want more.

If we were an organization with a full staff or even a smaller team that focuses on the draft year-round, it MIGHT be possible. As we are, it's just impossible. I see plenty of other draft guides come out AFTER ours, so there's nothing unusual about it. I know that we give a different perspective than other Draft guides, and includes articles and features that are not draft-specific. If that's not enough to float your boat, that's fine, but you're missing out on some great content.

Thanks for the reply.
Ok. You have convinced me to try it, this year. I'll have to think of it as an 'After 8' mint and coffee at the end of a meal......

I've gotten the CHTV Draft Guide every year for as long as I can remember and I've NEVER been disappointed. It's informative, fun, and well worth the small amount of change to order it. My suggestion is to get it when it becomes available.

IIRC Al even gives a discount if you preorder it... If you're a Packers fan you can't go wrong.
