I'm not a fan of the 3-4 defense overall, but I am definitely not a fan of running it without a War Daddy at NT. Blacklock looks like he can be that guy on film even though he is a tad small for a traditional 0/1 tech. I like him too.

Good list, Aaron. I'm a bit different in terms of what we're doing here... I mean, why blast our favorite players out for Bears, Vikings and Lions GMs to glean from? You know they check @cheeseheadtv before submitting their cards... We are nearly 1 week away from Day 1 of the NFL Draft. Time for some smoke...

1. WR Donovan Peoples-Jones
2. TE Cole Kmet
3. QB Jordan Love
4. CB Tony Pride Jr
5. ILB Shaquille Quarterman

I am with Aaron on Murray but I haven’t seen a single mock in the last few weeks showing him falling to 30. As stated, Packers have devalued middle LB so no reason to think they will trade up to get him. Don’t like Pittman as much as you not because he could be good but he looks a lot like what we currently have. Probably why they might take him.

In the end, I want some speed at WR and a run stopper somewhere in this draft. I trust Gute A lot more than either of our scouting abilities.

With all the popular girls having been selected - my crushes are the lesser beauties:
1. Leki Fotu (DT) - massive Tackle that will keep the double teams off K.C., and, help the besieged ILBs. Plus there's a touch of Gilbert Brown to him - which can only be a positive.
2. Lucas Niang (OT) - Elgton Jenkins 2.0. Different position but same result. Will contribute in Year 1 and RT replacement for Bulaga.
3. Darrynton Evans (RB) - fast, dynamic - who can run and catch. Add a fast and dynamic WR and voila - a fast and dynamic offence! (Also please no more basketball length, 4.5+ 40 time, jump-ball receivers.)

As much as I like Niang, we’ve already replaced Bulaga.

I like Fotu on the last day. 4th round

I like Blacklock. I haven’t seen a single mock with Murray making it to 30.

I think Wagner is only a stop-gap - being 31 and a lesser Bulaga. Should Niang perform to his potential - he will be getting starters minutes by year's-end. Would love Fotu to last to the 4th round but it may be early 4th where he goes. Blacklock is a good DT but not a very strong run-stopper - which is the primary need along the defensive line.

Where will Leki Fotu go? Many speculate he’s 4th round.

I think/hope we’ll get a defensive lineman somewhere between 30 and 100. There are several very good players including Blacklock, Madabuike, Gallimore, Elliott, Hamilton and Davis and common sense would suggest that getting a better run defender on the field might improve our ability to stop the run.

Blacklock could be there at 30, and if he is then he’s one of the best defenders on the board. and Davis will probably be on the board at 62.

My 5 crushes are Tee Higgins WR, Mykal Walker ILB, Tanner Muse S/hybrid LB, Leki Fotu NT, and Darrington Evans RB. Higgins is the only possible 1st rounder. All the others are day 3 guys that fill positions of need.

I was going to make a Top 5 list but yours is so good I'm not going to bother. Maybe one to consider if he falls is Javon Kinlaw, but I highly doubt he falls far enough and probably isn't worth trading up for given DE isn't a premium position in the 3-4. AJ Epenesa could be interesting at DE. I do like Queen as well, but I have to say that the top player for me by far is Kenneth Murray. He'd be a great value at 30 filling a big need, and there is no better way to improve the team than getting an elite ILB. I'd even consider trading up for him.

My dream player would be Simmons. He's a 3 down ILB who at 6'4" 238 with speed can do it all.

I don't need no stinking badges, and I don't want anymore developmental players. GB needs to go and do what it takes to go up and get Kenneth Murray,GB's new shiny version of Bobby Wagner.
Next The dude from USC Pittman . He is a Packer I agree on with Nagler
.Next OT Ezra Cleveland, Boise State
Next DT from Missouri, Jordan Elliott
Next RB from Memphis, Antonio Gibson

Top 5 faves regardless of position/draft status. !. Isaiah Simmons 2. CeeDee Lamb 3. Justin Jefferson 4. Clyde Edwards Helaire (did you see the Alabama game?) 5. James Morgan (a local Favre). Also, do not pick Josh Jones. We tried that already. How'd that work out?

Gutey doesn't need another slow big body receiver. He needs speed and quickness like Reagor. 1 Murray, 2 Reagor, 3 Jackson, 4, Blacklock , 5 D. Evans.

Murray will be long gone before #30. So the best the Packers can do will have to come from the second tier "if" they draft an ILB early. I like Pittman but would rather see Gutekunst go after a burner at WR who can also return punts. I like Blacklock too but is he the run crusher DL the Packers need? I'd be ecstatic if they got Josh Jones! Taylor would be fine by me also. He only needs to last through his rookie contract. Then he'll be let go to free agency and replaced because the Packers can't afford him. So of these five I think Pittman, Blacklock, and Taylor will still be around at #30 the question is are they the BPA at #30 and if not do any of them last to the late second round? It's doubtful the Packers get any of these guys.

I like 1-3 of the list.

Personally with only 8 days left, I still have no draft crush. 2018 it was Josh Jackson and 2019 it was Jace Sternberger. Both ended up wearing green & gold.

This is an odd year for me, as my picks are all picks late in the draft, or even rookie FAs.

TE Devin Asiasi 6'3", 257 (probably rd5)
ILB Shaquille Quarterman (probably rd5)
G/T Yasir Durant 6'7", 330 (rd6)
CB Nevelle Clarke 6'1", 179 (rd6)
ILB Mykal Walker6'3", 215, (rd6)
WR Jeff Thomas 5'10", 180, (rd7)
RB Reggie Corbin 5'10", 200, (rd7)
G Gage Cervenka 6'3", 325 (rd7)
OT Jon Runyan 6'5", 321 (rd7)

Sure they might never make an impact in the NFL.............but I like them all, and hope they make it.

What? I agree. You picked two of the best OL you can get in Durant and Runyan! ( Without spending a fortune.) Thomas WRS is another good one. Keep an eye on Watkins WR and Tyler Clarke DT. Too !

The Steelers , Ravens and Cowboys May all take an inside linebacker so if the Packers want Murray they have a lot of jockeying to do.

A lot of inputs wanting a fast “burner” type wr to take the top of the defense. Wasn’t that what MVS was suppose to be? Rather than specific attributes how about we try to get playmakers who would upgrade the team? Speed is a nice upgrade on just about any position but get people who make plays, there are many great physical players who never make it in the pros

"Crush" is the perfect term for this phenomenon, as I get them every year, and often I see no pattern in the "why?" A player just has a "je ne se quoi," ("I know not what). In recent years, Kyler Fackrell (as a TE covering ILB) and Jamaal Williams and Jace Sternberger were crushes of mine that the Packers picked.
Often/usually my crushes are players I see as "undervalued" by the online/magazine "experts." Last year they included ILB Devin White, DL Zach Allen, S Juan Thornhill, S Nasir Adderly, RB Devin Singletary, and WR Andy Isabella.

THIS year my crushes include these guys: WRs Brandon Aiyuk, Denzel Mims, Michael Pittman Jr.; RBs J.K. Dobbins,
Clyde Edwards-Helaire, and A.J. Dillon; and DLs Neville Gallimore and Jordan Elliott. There are plenty of other players I would pick before these guys, but I'll follow this group with extra interest.

Dillon and Edwards-Helaire are probably my top two this year.
