Mo Drayton.

His seat should be ON FIRE!!!

On another note...
Lucas Patrick should be feeling some serious heat on his rear.
...as should his pals Jon Runyon and Ben Braden.

Looks like the forgotten 'Summer of Yosh" has resulted in our man earning a spot on the 53 by having a pretty solid camp.

Get back to me when Scott costs us a game , shanks and 21 yard punts in pre season is unacceptable. Granted he was good on Alabama but not in the NFL .

I never said he was any good. Certainly not consistently good.

However repeating something over and over ad nauseum just shows you are unable to offer any constructive criticism, which actually requires intelligence that you're obviously lacking. But you just keep being you.

Sternberger is still struggling with the playbook? It doesn't sound like the coach is real impressed with his work ethic, either. It's a shame, because he provides at least a little depth behind Tonyan.

Also, I know Love isn't in this category now, but it certainly would be reassuring if he had another respectable outing in this game.

Love most certainly is in the must step-up group, but he's protected by his draft selection and has been made the back-up QB mostly by default. Love needs to show much against Buffalo if he plays at all. We need to see much more to have a sense of what may be if Rodgers gets hurt, and we don't know crap and his limited time against nothing means exactly that, nothing.

Fans may not know much about Love but the coaching staff sees him every day. So far in the Buffalo game he has shown he is clearly the #2. Besides the poor choice in the INT, I think he’s played solid especially considering he is playing with our 2s and 3s vs the Bills starters.

This coaching staff has never like Sternberger since he was drafted. And that was before his concussion's and Covid. His position coach and Lafleur were mouthing off about him not being 'tough enough' while he was in the concussion protocol. Gutekunst publicly told them to knocked if off. At times this HC, and his offense staff have been very immature over the past couple of years. It doesn't help that in their eyes he's one of Gutekunst picks before they had input on the draft. One hopes that Lafleur and his offense staff has done some growing up over the last season. Frankly, I don't think Sternberger is ready at this point and in this year should not make the gameday roster. But his talent is real and players with his combo of talent at his position are rare. Tough call for Gute...

JK Scott’s inconsistency is maddening. Of course, saying that and actually finding that replacement at the end of training camp is the problem. Easier said then done.

I don’t understand why anyone thinks Sternberger was anything more than a pass catcher. That (blocking) was the knock on him coming out and it’s still the knock on him today. I am not even sure his body type is built to be a good blocker. On top of that he has struggled with consistently catching the ball. Then he goes and gets himself suspended probably trying to bulk up. Just not how to put the work in and win a job.

Williams and Innis are not going to make the team. Maybe one or both get practice squad offers. Burks makes it for his special teams. The Packers have been awful on ST and they just can’t afford to dump anyone who is even competent. Burks will never be an every down linebacker. He just gets lost in the wash too much.
